The atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are projected to rise dramatically by 2050. With China ultimately implementing a carbon tax on the burning of fossil fuels, My objective is to take advantage of the non-combustion energy sources such as wind and sunlight (sources that don’t’ convert to carbon dioxide).

I propose to design wind channels that begin to mitigate the urban heat island effect (where ambient and actual temperatures are greater in the city than outside of the city).
