沐道 ‘Mu-Dou’ means Sublimation Path
沐 – Bathing, 墓 – Tomb, have the same pronounciation ‘Mu’
道 – Path, pronounced ‘Dou’

The Photo presents the feature of traditional cemetery in Taiwan — Colorfully decorated and has its own orientation. Each tomb belongs to different families to store coffins or ash urns. A cemetery path in Kingshan links two villages. In this project, I attempted to reform this path to become a new gathering place for both the living and the dead.

“You reach a moment in life when,
among the people you have known,
the dead outnumber the living…”
